We verify system operating pressure and overall functionality.
We visually inspect the front condensers, clearing any debris trapped in the vents.
We examine the pipe joints under the driver’s-side sill—a common weak spot prone to damage from ramp arms or jacking pads.
We check the compressor for leaks, manually test the free-wheel pulley bearing, and assess the condition of the electromagnetic clutch.
Early warning signs of low refrigerant (and oil) include unusual noises from the dashboard during operation or a loud compressor.
